Well anyway.  I am here again in the internet cafe drinking macha and milk and scoping the patrons.  Looks good from here.  I am sick again.  For the thrid time this year.  I friggin never get sick, but here I am sick like once a month.  WTF?  I want my money back on that crap.  Japanese class is coming along nicely, I have no idea what anyone is saying, and so it is actually hard to remember that I am not simply out on the street listening to random passing japanese.  I am really rusty, but it is all good.  I got time ya know?  I have settled into a comfortably numb existence with Nova. I am simply enjoying yacking with people as much as possible and ignoring all the other crap with a snide comment or two thrown in for good measure.  The internet will be hooked up in my place next week sometime, and I will be updating at least a little more.  I am stoked to be able to ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD AGAIN.  This getting news once a week crap gotta stop!  Oh well.

Well I started Japanese classes last week.  They are fun so far.  I am still bored, but the food is good.

well here it is wednesday and I am updating again.  I am on the list for internet, but I wont get it until next month.  After that I can update more often.  As of now, it is a pain, and besides.  I really dont like any of you anyway.  I am just leading you on for the eventual let down.  Lets see, work sucks, but I am pretty sure I will get off probation soon, and I am still finding good deals on booze around.  What more can you ask for?  Oh yeah, well I find that too here and there.  I should turn this into a short skirt photo board.  All these bend test failures are wasted on me and me alone.  Oh well.  Guess ya`ll gotta come for a visit ne?

Did I mention that the Japanese have renamed all Korean foods?  This pisses me off.  For one thing, because I know only the Korean names, and for another, they did not rename anything else!  So, they can not pronounce PANJO, but SPAGETTI is OK? BULLSHIT.  They are being racist fuckers again, and they dont even realize it. 

 

Tonight I will  make a decent hotpot/nabe dish resembling Kimchi soup, but closer to sukiyaki in many ways.  I have a few friends coming by for dinner.  All western.  I would feel bad about hanging with foriegners, but mostly I end up with Australians, and I tend to enjoy them.  I am still learning about something, right?  For example, Coopers is a great Australian beer, and NO ONE but American tourists would be caught DEAD with a FOSTERS.  Apparently, it is actually Australian for PISS!!! 

 

Ok, I am off to the library.  I am hoping to find a book on Lebanonn, and the civil war there.   I have been noticing a crap load of similarities between that conflict and Iraq.  I would like to clarify a few things. 

 

NOMIHODAI was a roaring success.  I had 7 or 8 beers, missed the last subway, and had to take a cab back home.  Total cost 3000 yen-30 bucks.  At regular bar prices I STILL came in 5 bucks under par, and probably closer to 20! 

15 dollars.  Two hours.  All you can drink.  Japan is so great sometimes!

Just another day in paradise.  I am heading off to Ozu, the shopping district of Nagoya to buy absolutley nothing.  I have my all access pass to the Nagoya subway, and so I have no money left!  I am out and about with no money to spend.  At least not on anything cool.  I still have money for food and coffee, thank god.  I will check it out, and go study a while and then go home.  Can you stand the excitment???  It is hard, but please try.  I found the library yesterday, and I will probably head there today as well.  See if I can check out that copy of foriegn affairs I saw chillin all lonely.  Iraq must be going badly.  I did not see any mention of much of anything else on the cover.  Poor boys over there fucking around in the sand box.  Guess I have no cause to complain, eh?  Dont forget to duck guys, and fast.  I wish I could start school this april and not next.  I dont know if I can wait that long.  At least my Japanese will be decent by then.  I can tell people to get the hell out of my way on the subway.  : )  Tomorrow I have to return to work.  All messages of moral support accepted.  Word to your mothers...

Nothing today.  Just chillin out.  Got to the internet place and I have finished all I need to do, but my roomate is still chugging along.  I figured I would say hello to you all instead.  I am bored with this crap.  I need a job I enjoy.  Two days left and I have to go back to work.  Aint that a bitch.  I could hate this job more, but I dont give credit for that.  Oh well.  Tomorrow is sukiyaki.  Just keep eating the yummy yummy food and everything will work out eventually, ne?  BORED BORED BORED.  Maybe if they paid me more I could buy things to keep myself interested.  Better luck next time.

happy new year?

Well, new years has turned out to be a lame fuck around.  I was hoping this year would be better than the last, but there is no evidence to support that so far.  I spent my new year walking for two hours trying to find my buddies house, and then paying a cab to drive around and do the same thing.  Address is not good enough to get you where you need to go here.  I have seen it twice now.  Friggin Japan.  Well, happy new year anyway.
